THE PAINTED SISTERS is a series of four erotic thriller romance books set in the late Victorian era. It follows a group of women who have been groomed and exquisitely tattooed to be living art for a group of untouchables called ‘The Collectors’.
The Collectors are the richest and most influential people in the world while remaining largely unseen by the public eye. They live outside the rules of government, country and law; comprising of some of the most brilliant, eccentric and questionable men in the industrialized world.
Painted Sisters are very expensive, not only to buy but to keep. To have one is the first key to entry into the world of the Collectors. They get you from the street and through the garden gate. Quite a few men find they stay there for the rest of their lives; some banked on the possible returns their association with a Collector would give and over invested in their purchase of a Painted Sister…they have now found a way to ‘cash out’.
An outlawed sect has resurrected, a sect who values the Painted Sisters’s beautifully tattooed skin, more than the woman who wears it. A Skinner is cultivated, a fledgling killer trained to hunt the Painted Sisters of men seeking to get some of their money back. The Skinner’s job is to find the Painted Sisters from this disgruntled and financially compromised group of men, hunt them down, flay them and return the skins to a Curator who will prepare them for auction.
In the Painted Sisters Series each book deals with one of the sisters and their journey to escape their disenchanted Collector, to survive the Skinner, and in the process find love.

I have been a fan Arthur Conan Doyle as well as Agatha Christy. Painted Trust reminded me of those two authors and their stories with an erotic twist which pleased me very much. I am looking forward to more painted sister stories. I
