#MySexySaturday 22nd November & #SexySnippets 23rd November 2014
Every weekend, a group of us sign up at My Sexy Saturday and some of us at The Nuthouse Scribblers blog and post a sexy snippet: 7 sentences from a work in progress. Here’s mine for the week from Lily and the Mechanic.
It’s a historical novella set in London 1898.
“Are you cold?” he asked.
Lily shook her head no, far from it she was a furnace but her nerves were skittering all through her. Her night dress lay on the floor but looking at it wouldn’t put it back on.
“Good…” his eyes creased at the edges and there it was, that look that made her insides move around all restless and hungry. He reached out and dragged the comforter off her leaving only the sheet which she ridiculously clutched under her chin.
His fingers curled into the sheet and gently pulled. She kept a hold of it even as it moved down over her shoulders exposing her clavicle, lower and to the swell of her breasts; her heart beat way too fast and her hands shook as she held the sheet tight stopping its decent.
Those wonderful blue eyes looked at her, his head tilted, “I can hardly see in this light Lily.”

I always feel your snippets so deeply, Elsa. They are both sensual and beautiful but there is a soul, a spirit that runs through your words, perhaps behind your words, that speaks to my soul.
Catherine. I am always so complimented and blessed by your support and encouragement!! XXOX <3
The beauty…its subtle sexuality…leaves my insides restless and hungry……
